Leonardo DiCaprio possesses finally won his initial Oscar for survival epic The Revenant, after six nominations.
He was named greatest actor at the 88th Academy Awards, with Brie Larson named ideal actress for Room.Spotlight took home the very best photo Oscar with Mad Max: Fury Road picking right up the many awards of the night time, with six accolades.
Mark Rylance won the very best helping actor Oscar, with fellow Briton Sam Smith earning best original song.
